Hi

More testing of released Gnome 2.4.1 showed when I click on 2nd monitor panel (right-button-click), that is either rt-button-click anywhere on desktop or on gnome-panel show this error:

This probably reflects a bug in the program.

that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

Hi

This is a 2.4 problem -> system is RH9 with Gnome 2.4 install. Two
monitors (dual head) setup. Metacity comes up fine on 2nd monitor but
rt-click mouse anywhere on desktop seems to restart window manager. Even
if you left-click mouse on "window menu" button on say an xterm window
on 2nd head the same thing happens (i.e. wm seems to restart). Any ideas ?

BTW: The 1st head works fine.

thanks,
Daya
