What's interesting is that after using the new behaviour for a month, I'm not really sure that the old one was correct either.

I like it this way, and I feel like this is an *extension* of the
previous one -- instead of having that same features working for keyboard only (you view one window while typing in another), now they work for the mouse too. I found out that I rarely have to Alt+Click to raise window, but it could also be because I usually do different tasks on different workspaces, to which I switch using a keyboard.


So, after a month of usage, I see the point Havoc was making previously: there's really no good solution to the problem, at least in terms of "correctness".
