Hello Aravinda,

does this mean, that i should keep these (already enabled) two daemons in disabled state and after creating gvol
it will start automatically? If yes, i will need to activate enable to have them come up after reboot.
Kind regards,
peterk

Hello All,

i have installed 7.8-1 version of glusterfs packages on a VM with debian buster 10.5 and see no glusterfs daemons present.

glusterfs and glusterfsd are managed by Glusterd once the Volume is created. So no systemd unit files for these daemons. It is not possible to start/stop a brick process(glusterfsd) alone using systemd commands, it will be controlled by Glusterd when Volume commands are run.
