Howdy, all -

I have inherited a system which is running an ancient version of Gluster - I think it's 3.x (but I'm not at the site where it's running now) running on CentOS 7.

Obviously, I want to update it to the latest version, but I really don't want to screw anything up.

Is there a "correct" way of getting from 3.x to 8.x? Do I need to do any intermediate steps first, like 3 to 4?

Many thanks!
Thomas
