It may be stable, but it still suffers from performance issues, which the team is working on. But nevertheless, I'm curious if maybe Ceph has those problem sorted by now.

Gluster2 was mistake, imho. It's deprecation means nothing.
For me looks like gluster in now stable , this is why it is not as busy
as before.
