I'm new to glusterFS so I missed the years of warning and ganesha did
not work as expected on my HA system.
So no chance for me or is there anyway a possibility to enable gNFS again?
The packages may not have it. You can build it as Xie mentioned earlier like below from source-code of release tarball.
./autogen.sh; ./configure --enable-gnfs ; make install;
Note that as it is built from source, it has to be done on all machines.
