Why commit and force options in replace-brick options

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I do not understand why there's extra commit and force options if both the options are mandatory for replace-brick command. My version is 3.12.15

I'm guessing commit is to trigger heal. But what's force for? And I think  it could be better if the information is mentioned in prompt or description of the replace-brick, instead of making the commit and force options mandatory, which is confusing

Regards,
Jeevan.
