Updates on cockpit-gluster!

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hey everyone!

We have added new features to cockpit-gluster!

Firstly there is a Vagrant setup now which you can use to deploy a GD2 Cluster setup locally rather than using multiple machines as earlier.
You can refer to https://github.com/gluster/cockpit-gluster#developing-with-vagrant for more details on that.

Secondly there are some changes that are being planned to be included going forward. The major changes are adding support for multiple hosts in expand cluster, creating disperse volumes, choosing the hosts on which replica/disperse volumes will be created, starting and stopping volumes and setting gluster volume options.
The Mock-Ups for the same have been uploaded as a PR(https://github.com/gluster/cockpit-gluster/pull/18/files).

Please comment your suggestions and reviews on the PR! (Do ignore the CSS part of the Mock-Ups currently. They will follow the same styling as all the patternfly components we use.)
We will proceed sending PRs for the actual changes only once they have been reviewed by the community!

Regards
Parth Dhanjal
