I'm working on upgrading a set of our gluster machines from 3.7 to 3.10- at first I was going to follow the guide here: https://gluster.readthedocs.io/en/latest/Upgrade-Guide/upgrade_to_3.10/ but it mentions:
and
ALERT: If any of your volumes, in the trusted storage pool that is being upgraded, uses disperse or is a pure distributed volume, this procedure is NOT recommended, use the Offline upgrade procedure instead. The data stored on this gluster volume (Distributed-Disperse, 2 x (4 + 2) = 12) is somewhat critical, but I wanted to make sure there was no possible way to do an 'online' upgrade before following the 'offline' steps.
