Dear gluster users.
I would like to know if it is possible to define all aspects of a
gluster setup manually.
for example i have in /var/lib/glusterd/vols

-rw-------. 1 root root 18 Jan 18 04:05 quota.cksum
-rw-------. 1 root root 0 Jan 13 21:37 quota.conf

file myvolume.bla1.data-brick.vol contains amongst other items a uuid
volume myvolume-posix
type storage/posix
option volume-id 1092f9c4-ce0e-4061-bff0-b0f51a4b35af
option directory /bla/bla
end-volume
is it possible to take ownership of this volume-id and define this
myself?
i know i can define the uuids of the peers which is already helpfull.
this question essentially applies to all aspects where uuids are
involved.
The reason for pursuing this is that i want to be able to replace
systems / bricks etc like for like.
Hopefully this means it becomes easier to swap hardware without the
need to do any probing etc.
I am hoping this is possible.
