You mean even though the file did not exist, the .glusterfs/<gfid-hardlink-to-file> still was present?I did not find this scenario in the split brain docs, but based on other scenarios I deleted the gfid file

and then ran a full heal, however; it still complains about split brain. I am considering just restoring the bricks from snapshot, but in the future that may not be ideal. Is there another way to resolve this?
