Could you do the following?

# gluster volume profile <volname> start

# run dd command

# gluster volume profile <volname> info > /path/to/file/that/you/need/to/send/us.txt

Just to clarify: any other protocol, like rsync, is able to saturate
the network.
*only* gluster can't go over 10MB/s
