replacing brick procedure

Are the steps for replacing a brick still current here?:

  https://gluster.readthedocs.org/en/latest/Administrator%20Guide/Managing%20Volumes/#replace-faulty-brick

Do we still need to mount the volume, create/delete a director, set some extended attributes?

Or can we just use the replace-brick cmd by itself?
