I have tried running containers in privileges mode but it didn't work but using in addition docker volumes in privileges mode worked well.

In addition to this use docker volumes for the brick. Docker volumes
are bind mounts from the host to the container path, so there
shouldn't be any problems with the fs (if using a proper FS on the
host).
