Actually, in answer to my own question, all I need is heal info?

yes, you can execute following command

#gluster volume remove-brick <VOLNAME> <list of remove brick> status

above command will give you statistics of remove brick operation.

Is there a similar command for getting the status of adding a brick.

e.g
# add a new replica brick
gluster volume add-brick datastore1 replica 2 vng.proxmox.softlog:/glusterdata/data force

# get progress of replication (does not work)
gluster volume add-brick datastore1 vng.proxmox.softlog:/glusterdata/data force info
