Shard Volumes - Data corruption

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I've now managed to corrupt a VM QCOW2 image to the extent it could not be mounted by KVM 3 times.

All three times it was by doing a live migration  while the VM was running a disk benchmark.

Note: This was a corruption of the qcow2 format itself, not the guest filesystem within the qcow2 image.

For me, the shard feature is yet a beta. Not even close to being reliable.

thanks,
