I understand.
Munin's df-plugin simply calls the "df" command, so it's not thaaaat
proprietary, I'd say ;)

One great feature of Munin is that most of its monitoring plugins are
really easy to setup. Configuring SNMP to cover the simple functionality
of "df" might very likely be more complicated.

Therefore I think it's nice that monitoring non-local mounts easily
out-of-the-box is a nice thing.
