ram as cache for brick

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello,

I know cache occur on client side. My bricks have 32GB of ram allocated.
I can see that Linux use it as cache on brick.

Do you think I can expect benefits from it and may improve performance by adding more ?

If buff/cache memory help gluster bricks what about tuning these:
/proc/sys/vm/vfs_cache_pressure

(I have mainly many small files and things are slow).

I am using version 3.7.1, upgrading to 3.7.2-3

Thanks for your help

Regards,
Mathieu CHATEAU
