"All" is the key here, hardly anyone can be expected to follow all
conversations on the mailinglists, irc and blogs. Anyone that feels a
topic is interesting should add it to the etherpad.

Not on a weekly basis, just add it immediately when something pops up.
Include links to email threads so that it is easy to check the latest
status. Whoever posts the blog in the end, can then quickly check/update
the comments from the etherpad (and include the links for other readers).
