I am doing from three different clients on three different directories, getting better speed, thank you for your advice.

I was wondering if could posible do the job with a rsync between gfs-servers?

Stopping the new node and moving the info to it with rsync and after restarting the node, or I could find problems?

Thank you again for your help.

Regards

Curro Rodriguez.

Improved a lot the speed, but still seems slow to me, I have around 5MB/s getting close to 20GB per our of transference.

I know that the reason of low speed could be a lot of small files, but I would like to know if is there anything more to improve this speed.
You can do the same operation from multiple clients. Each client can do a `find` of different sub directories instead of all of them doing it from '/'.
