Hi Susant,
i send you the xattrs of a file from the brick and from the mount point... I could see in both the outputs for the same file, "security.selinux" is different..------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
# file: export/sda3/brick/sharad.txt
security.selinux=0x756e636f6e66696e65645f753a6f626a6563745f723a66696c655f743a733000

Again i explain the problem...
when I check /export/sda3/brick/, sharad.txt is visible and accessible.
when I check /mnt/mpt, sharad.txt is accessible but not visible.
thanks

Sharad,
The only thing that I can think of right now is the brick layout has been zeroed out [or anomaly in the brick layout] on this particular brick. Would you be able to send the brick xattr from all the nodes and missing file xattrs ?
Command for that would be "getfattr -m . -de hex <FILE_PATH>".
Regards,
Susant
