Openstack doesn't have vsdm, it should be a configuration option: "qemu_allowed_storage_drivers=gluster"
But, however , the machine is generated with the xml that you see.

Thats a fuse connection. I'm running ovirt + glusterfs where vdsm is a
special version with libgfapi support. Don't know if Openstack has that too?
