Unfortunately, the /var/log/glusterfs/data.log does not have an
indication on why it failed. Could you mount with more verbose logging
enabled?

  # mount -t glusterfs -o log-level=DEBUG server01x:/data /data

If the log would still not explain whats wrong, you could replace DEBUG
with TRACE to get even more messages.
