What protocol ( fuse/nfs..etc) has been used here to mount the gluster
volume in your client?
Fuse

Are these bricks formatted with XFS?
no they are not formatted with XFS

What backend filesystem is in use here? If you happen to use ext4, there is a known problem with 3.6.1 [1] and we expect the fix to be available in 3.6.2.
