I've found out what the problem was ...
I am running gluster on DEBIAN wheezy
and the
/var/lib/glusterd/geo-replication/gsyncd_template.conf
was full of wrong paths like this one
[peersrx . %5Essh%3A]
remote_gsyncd = /nonexistent/gsyncd
After changing them all run ok !
