glusterfs-3.5.2beta1 has been available for a little over a week now.
I did not receive any reports of major breakage yet, so I think
a release (with packages following a little later) today should be
possible.

The beta does not have the patch included, but because it is a very
simple and straight forward one, it's safe enough to get merged in the
3.5.2 release.

You may want to follow https://bugzilla.redhat.com/1124728 for its
current status and details on the release.

Cheers,
Niels
