Hi Dan.
Do not make direct changes on our volumes. Whatever you want to do, mount the gluster volume and operate from the mount.
I did the same when I first installed gluster.

I see that file appear on my two glusterfs servers.
However when I go onto one glusterfs server and place a file in my gluster volume I don't get any file replication.
Why does that happen ?
