Bypass "gluster stop" y/n question (also, python api)

Hi,

I'm trying to call "gluster stop volume" from a web page, but it keep
asking me if I really want to stop it and expects "y" or "n" which makes
things annoying.
Is there any "-y"-like parameter we can use to bypass these questions?

Also, is there any API for python so I don't have to run system
commands?
