A little more information. In Steve's previous tests, the gluster server was running a complete CentOS 5.7, with various computers as gluster clients. Since his last Email, Steve has also tried setting up a Rocks 6.0 frontend as the server. In this test, the Rocks 6.0 server also fails to mount its own gluster disk but the failure happens much earlier (I don't have access to Steve's logs to be more specific). -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Pat Haley Email: phaley at mit.edu Center for Ocean Engineering Phone: (617) 253-6824 Dept. of Mechanical Engineering Fax: (617) 253-8125 MIT, Room 5-213 http://web.mit.edu/phaley/www/ 77 Massachusetts Avenue Cambridge, MA 02139-4301 ________________________________________ From: gluster-users-bounces at gluster.org [gluster-users-bounces at gluster.org] on behalf of Steve Postma [SPostma at ztechnet.com] Sent: Monday, November 19, 2012 3:58 PM To: John Mark Walker Cc: gluster-users at gluster.org Subject: Re: cant mount gluster volume Thanks, your right.
