Replacing a failed server - 3.3

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I recently had to swap a server for a new one.

The info at
http://gluster.org/community/documentation/index.php/Gluster_3.2:_Brick_Restoration_-_Replace_Crashed_Server
has not been updated for 3.3. It works if you change it as follows:

grep server3 /var/lib/glusterd/peers/*

echo UUID=... >/var/lib/glusterd/glusterd.info

It would be good if this could be updated, but even better if the admin
guide had it (as this seems to be a pretty crucial bit of gluster
administration)

Brian.
