Hi Marcelo, Everyone,

I tried different configurations, the latest follows:

[root at host1 ~]# cat /etc/hosts
127.0.0.1 localhost localhost.localdomain localhost4
localhost4.localdomain4
127.0.0.1 host1 host1.fqdn
192.168.1.193 host2 host2.fqdn

[root at host2 ~]# cat /etc/hosts
127.0.0.1 localhost localhost.localdomain localhost4
localhost4.localdomain4
127.0.0.1 host2 host2.fqdn
192.168.1.192 host1 host1.fqdn

[root at host1 ~]# host host2
host2 has address 192.168.1.193

[root at host2 ~]# host host1
host1 has address 192.168.1.192

What is really strange, whenever I put wrong entries in peer probe it all
says the same:
[root at host1 ~]# gluster peer probe host2
Probe on localhost not needed
[root at host1 ~]# gluster peer probe host2-wrong-host.very.wrong.
Probe unsuccessful
Probe returned with unknown errno 107
[root at host1 ~]# gluster peer probe host2-wrong-host.very.wrong
Probe on localhost not needed

Entries in:
[root at host1 ~]# tail -n20 /var/log/glusterfs/cli.log

Hope it makes any sense.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
Vladimir.
