geo-replication loops

Yes,

Currently, you can have 1 master & multiple slaves, but not multiple
masters sinking over each other because there are marker translators which
set extended attributes & so there is a chance of that getting corrupt.

Frankly for your requirements, you need to wait for the active/active
configuration to come in. ;-)
