David, I am not sure if I got what you have described below entirely. A brick can be part of only one volume. So two volumes with a brick in common between them is not allowed. Check if the problem you are facing is similar to that explained in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=GLUSTER-3320 What is the version of gluster are you using? thanks, krish On 01/03/2012 08:55 PM, David Enrique Espejo Rodriguez wrote: > > Good morning > > We have two bricks with a replicated volume, and we are trying to add > another volume to the same pair of bricks but the command > > Gluster volume create /volume1 brick1:/volumemnt brick2:/volumemnt/ > > Fails with "/Another operation is in progress, please retry after some time"/ > / / > > > Also, trying in one of the bricks, issuing the command > > Gluster volume create /volume 1 brick1:/volumemnt/ > > In order to further add the second bricks fails with a "Operation > failed" message > > Some ideas of adding a second replicated volume in this scenario? > > Thanks > > > _______________________________________________ > Gluster-users mailing list > Gluster-users at gluster.org > http://gluster.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/gluster-users -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
