lopsa.org for the organization (league of professional sysops)
(SAGE/LISA is the other obvious place, but I think their lists are
members only)

for network operations types, there's the nanog list (start at
www.nanog.org) - more for folks who run backbone and large enterprise nets

there are also some lists that are more specific to web hosting (the
forums at webhostingtalk.com come to mind) - a good place for stuff
about selecting a datacenter

it all depends on what kind of questions you're looking to get answered
