REALLY annoying GlusterFS client problem

My guess is this is the file:

 root at sws01.internal [/] > ls -lah core
-rw------- 1 root root 212M May 20 12:14 core

May I ask what is actually contained within that file? Will it contain any
data from the files inside the bucket?
