Can you first detach the new nodes using gluster peer detach? And then check service iptables status on all the nodes to make sure it's not a firewall issue. If it's not then ping these hostnames from the existing nodes in the cluster. If you see any DNS issues then add it to the host file and try to probe again. Before you probe again please restart /etc/init.d/glusterd on the new nodes. Try one node at a time.
