Quick and dirty fix to the missing gsyncd and syncdaemon issue if you are using the spec file in 3.1.3 to build RPMs. Patch located here: http://download.scalableinformatics.com/gluster/3.1.3/patch/gluster-3.1.3-gsyncd-syncdaemon.patch Bug filed as 2588. Looks like missing bits in the tarball [root at jr5-lab glusterfs-3.1.3]# find | grep gsyncd [root at jr5-lab glusterfs-3.1.3]# find | grep syncd [root at jr5-lab glusterfs-3.1.3]# find | grep sync ./libglusterfs/src/syncop.c ./libglusterfs/src/syncop.h ./extras/disk_usage_sync.sh If this is part of the commercial offering, thats not an issue.
