Volume reconfiguration breaks volume info

Do you see any errors in the glusterd log file (located in
<INSTALL_PREFIX>/var/log/glusterfs/)? I have seen instances when a gluster
CLI request has been failed due to the CLI request coming in from a
non-privileged port.
