Static placement method is the same as it was before.  You use
the /etc/fstab layout of:

/etc/glusterfs/glusterfs.vol    /mnt/gluster       glusterfs
defaults,_netdev      0 0

I prefer to stay with the original naming of the
file: /etc/glusterfs/glusterfs.vol
