Michael - iSCSI on Gluster works well in theory and not so well in practice. When you create a new iSCSI device you have no way of knowing on what node of the Gluster cluster the file will actually be created on. In a replica environment the iSCSI layer makes it difficult to ensure synchronous writes. I have a 10Gb dedicated network for data storage. Do you think it'd still be a problem?
