Small files and BDB translator

Hi Roberto,

we are going to upgrade our 6 server running 3.0.5 to 3.1.

BDB translator is not up to date with 3.1 releases, and we are not working
on it as of now.

Please use native NFS server for small file performance. Using NFS client's
client side caching, your small file performance should increase a bit.
