Martin, thanks for the warning. They perform better? Why they do? I can understand that their focus is on x64 for server appliances, but i can't understand (and i hope someone will tell me why) that the native fuse client should work only on x32 without quirks. XCP is x32, and that's the problem here. > > I hope to be testing again... but taking more notes and doing more > consistent tests on the next release. > > So, once again... build and test... and test some more on a non > production cluster > > Martin > > On 13 November 2010 01:17, Deadpan110 <deadpan110 at gmail.com> wrote: > > It should work... but it is very unsupported by the devs... > > > > USE AT YOUR OWN RISK... > > > > I successfully used glusterfs 3.1.0 for a while on Ubuntu Lucid 32bit > > - the only problems i encountered are a few of the ones recently > > discussed in this mailing list for 64bit. > > > > I will be implementing it again soon - I hope! > > > > Martin > > > > On 13 November 2010 00:54, Christian Fischer > > > > <christian.fischer at easterngraphics.com> wrote: > >> On Friday 12 November 2010 11:29:52 Bernard Li wrote: > >>> Hi Stefano: > >>> > >>> On Fri, Nov 12, 2010 at 2:18 AM, Stefano Baronio > >>> > >>> <stefano.baronio at gmail.com> wrote: > >>> > is there a way to have a 32bit Glusterfs client? > >>> > >>> You can definitely build it yourself, but it is not officially > >>> supported by Gluster.
