Scaling GlusterFS

Hi Stas,

For now, you will need to restart/remount. Starting 3.1, to be released by end of the year, with Dynamic Volume Management feature, you can do it on the fly.

Regards,
Tejas.

Subject: Scaling GlusterFS

Hi.

How easy is to scale the new GlusterFS 3?

Is it possible to add new storage nodes on fly, or I still need to update
the volume files and restart all processes, on all the nodes, as in
GlusterFS 2?

Regards.
