Debian Lenny, 64 bit, 2.6.26 kernel. The specs are "more or less" high end. I see there is a bug entry describing a similar issue: http://bugs.gluster.com/cgi-bin/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=902 but I don't use any NFS/translators here, so not sure if it's the same or not.
