Memory problems / leak in 2.0.6?

I still see a lot of memory usage after i disabled the performance/io-cache
translator on my clients.

Can this be a FUSE problem? Is there a way to limit the amount of cache or
memory FUSE uses?

If I need to upgrade, can I use 2.0.8 client with a 2.0.6 server?

Regards
Roland
