If I don't hack the .spec file to use --disable-mod_glusterfs for ./configure, I get a build failure. This output is from "rpmbuild -ta glusterfs-2.0.3.tar.gz --without ibverbs --without bdb" Here are the last lines of output while building: Making all in glusterfsd make[2]: Entering directory `/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/glusterfs-2.0.3/glusterfsd' Making all in src make[3]: Entering directory `/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/glusterfs-2.0.3/glusterfsd/src' if gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../.. -fPIC -Wall -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -D_GNU_SOURCE -DGF_LINUX_HOST_OS -I../../libglusterfs/src -DDATADIR=\"/var\" -DCONFDIR=\"/etc/glusterfs\" -O2 -g -march=i386 -mcpu=i686 -MT glusterfsd.o -MD -MP -MF ".deps/glusterfsd.Tpo" -c -o glusterfsd.o glusterfsd.c; \ then mv -f ".deps/glusterfsd.Tpo" ".deps/glusterfsd.Po"; else rm -f ".deps/glusterfsd.Tpo"; exit 1; fi if gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../.. -fPIC -Wall -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -D_GNU_SOURCE -DGF_LINUX_HOST_OS -I../../libglusterfs/src -DDATADIR=\"/var\" -DCONFDIR=\"/etc/glusterfs\" -O2 -g -march=i386 -mcpu=i686 -MT fetch-spec.o -MD -MP -MF ".deps/fetch-spec.Tpo" -c -o fetch-spec.o fetch-spec.c; \ then mv -f ".deps/fetch-spec.Tpo" ".deps/fetch-spec.Po"; else rm -f ".deps/fetch-spec.Tpo"; exit 1; fi /bin/sh ../../libtool --tag=CC --mode=link gcc -fPIC -Wall -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -D_GNU_SOURCE -DGF_LINUX_HOST_OS -I../../libglusterfs/src -DDATADIR=\"/var\" -DCONFDIR=\"/etc/glusterfs\" -O2 -g -march=i386 -mcpu=i686 -o glusterfsd -rdynamic glusterfsd.o fetch-spec.o ../../libglusterfs/src/libglusterfs.la -ldl -lpthread libtool: link: gcc -fPIC -Wall -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -D_GNU_SOURCE -DGF_LINUX_HOST_OS -I../../libglusterfs/src -DDATADIR=\"/var\" -DCONFDIR=\"/etc/glusterfs\" -O2 -g -march=i386 -mcpu=i686 -o .libs/glusterfsd -rdynamic glusterfsd.o fetch-spec.o ../../libglusterfs/src/.libs/libglusterfs.so -ldl -lpthread make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/glusterfs-2.0.3/glusterfsd/src' make[3]: Entering directory `/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/glusterfs-2.0.3/glusterfsd' make[3]: Nothing to be done for `all-am'. make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/glusterfs-2.0.3/glusterfsd' make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/glusterfs-2.0.3/glusterfsd' Making all in mod_glusterfs make[2]: Entering directory `/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/glusterfs-2.0.3/mod_glusterfs' Making all in apache make[3]: Entering directory `/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/glusterfs-2.0.3/mod_glusterfs/apache' Making all in 2.0 /bin/sh: line 0: cd: 2.0: No such file or directory make[3]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/glusterfs-2.0.3/mod_glusterfs/apache' make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/glusterfs-2.0.3/mod_glusterfs' make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/glusterfs-2.0.3' make: *** [all] Error 2 error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.74845 (%build) - Ramon.
