I'm using gluster 2.0rc1 on a 3 node system with replicate and distribute translators, I'm having a strange issue when testing it using dd, creating new files had a bandwidth of 3Mb/s, issuing a touch and then using dd lead to a bandwidth of 30Mb/s.
