Glusterfs performance regression with quota enabled

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I am using glusterfs-5.6 with quota enabled. I observed a obvious performance regression about 30% against a certain vdbench workload[1].

But I didn't set up a hard-limit or soft-limit to any particular volume or directory yet, just enable quota.

After disabling features/quota, glusterfs performance went normal.

Is it normal that qutoa will make the performance sharply drop?

Thanks,

Changwei
