Hey Team, I’ve got a number of sites currently that are having issues with the glusterfs VFS module for Samba. I contacted Andre’ Bauer, who to my understanding writes the module, however he advised that I contact you guys. The issue that I’m having is that I’m not able to access any of the shares which use the module. I am able to set the path via the mountpoint, however I’d like to avoid using a FUSE mount for samba connections, as the performance difference is quite substantial. I’ve included a copy of my samba config below, and a dump of the log file outlined in the config whilst attempting to access the share. Config:

https://paste.ubuntu.com/25618894/ I did notice the error in there about not being able to access ::1 24007, however I’ve confirmed that the system can ping that address using the ping6 binary. I’m not able to telnet to that though, however I can telnet
to 127.0.0.1 24007.
