Is that the criterion?  Seems to me that we should have wrappers for
all FUSE functions that don't present unusual difficulties, without
someone having to come ask for them.

FWIW, it doesn't look like this one will be hard at all.  The
corresponding syncop already exists.  Challenge accepted.  ;)
